Test winner mobile wallboxes – electricar / DIE TESTER, August 2026
In July 2026, the experts from DIE TESTER tested five 11 kW mobile charging stations for electricar magazine. All devices charge three-phase at 16 A from the red CEE socket and have a permanently attached Type 2 cable, so the conditions were the same for all.
The test went beyond the data sheet. An EVSE tester measured the protective earth conductor, insulation, residual current protection and the status transitions according to IEC 61851. Standby consumption and weight were measured, and the apps were tested with identical tasks.
The overall score is made up of five categories: Connectivity (40 %), Charging (20 %), Safety (20 %), Physical properties (10 %) and App (10 %).

With that, the NRGkick is almost nine percentage points ahead of the runner-up (86.58 %). The testers call it the most versatile device in the test field.

In their conclusion, the testers recommend the NRGkick 16A for company fleets with load management, among others. Thanks to its versatility, it is just as good a fit for:
- charging at home from a red three-phase socket, without any electrical installation,
– traveling a lot on the road with your EV and charging at different sockets,
– using your own solar power (PV surplus charging as an upgrade).
