Fundings in Austria
In Austria, charging units for electric cars are subsidized, both for private individuals and for companies. This means you can secure up to € 900 with the eligible NRGkick and NRGkick Fix – because not only wallboxes are eligible, but also communication-capable, intelligent charging cables.
Fundings for private individuals
Austrian private users can also apply for funding for communication-capable charging solutions. Both NRGkick as a mobile solution and NRGkick Fix as a fixed installation are included in the list of eligible charging solutions for private individuals in Austria.
NRGkick as a flexible charging solution without a wall socket is subsidized with up to € 600 for private individuals. NRGkick Fix as a permanently installed variant is subsidized with up to € 600 when installed in a single or two-party house, while up to € 900 can be secured for a multi-party house.

Funding for companies, local authorities and associations
Austrian companies, local authorities and associations have the opportunity to apply for funding for permanently installed charging solutions. NRGkick Fix meets all the requirements of this subsidy. With the NRGkick wall socket and the protective interlock, as well as the option to communicate via OCPP, it is therefore on the list of eligible charging solutions for businesses.
As AC charging solutions, NRGkick Fix Select (wall socket limit of max. 16A) and NRGkick Fix Max (wall socket limit of max. 32A) can be subsidized with up to € 900.

What else you should know about e-mobility fundings
Subsidies for electric charging infrastructure are available for both public and private organizations. So there is certainly something for you.
There are various programs that offer support in the form of financial assistance or technical advice:
- These include the National Development Plan for Electromobility (environmental funding in Austria)
- The KfW funding program for electric mobility
- The European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), which supports investments in electric charging infrastructure
Financial support for the procurement of chargers and components, the construction of charging infrastructure and the development of electric charging concepts is provided through these programs. With the support, public and private organizations can build the necessary electric charging infrastructure to support electric cars and other electric vehicles.
In addition to the subsidies in Austria and Germany, NRGkick and NRGkick Fix are also being integrated into more and more (international) subsidy programs – for example, the loading unit is also eligible for subsidies in Belgium.
